Relax your baby and soothe delicate skin before bedtime with the comforting performance of Aveeno Baby Calming Comfort Lavender & Vanilla Lotion. Specially engineered for infants and toddlers requiring nighttime hydration and skin barrier support, this calming lavender baby lotion wraps your baby's body in a soothing moisture veil. By pairing finely milled natural Colloidal Oatmeal with gentle lavender and vanilla aromas, it glides across delicate skin contours effortlessly.

This gentle daily baby moisturizer works dynamically to lock in essential moisture, calm surface dryness, and support a peaceful night's sleep. Designed for evening post-bath routines, the non-greasy lotion texture absorbs cleanly into outer skin layers, leaving your baby's skin feeling soft, smooth, comfortable, and delicately scented throughout the night.

How It Works & Key Benefits

This formula targets evening skin dryness, barrier vulnerability, and bedtime restlessness. Fine-milled Colloidal Oatmeal binds to skin water molecules, forming a protective lipid matrix over the stratum corneum. This targeted mechanism halts transepidermal water loss (TEWL), soothes surface micro-irritation, and calms infant senses via subtle aromatic scent profiles to promote restful sleep.

Core Active Ingredients & What They Do

Colloidal Oatmeal (Avena Sativa): Natural oat complex rich in beta-glucans and lipids that soothes irritation, reinforces barrier health, and locks in moisture.
Dimethicone: Gentle skin protectant that forms a breathable barrier over baby skin to seal in hydration and guard against chafing.
Glycerin: Essential humectant active that draws atmospheric water into outer skin layers to counteract dryness.
Lavender & Vanilla Essence: Soothing aroma blend designed to calm infant senses and support evening bedtime prep.

Formula Feel, Absorption & Delivery

The smooth, white lotion vehicle dispenses cleanly from the pump nozzle. As it is massaged over delicate body contours, the gentle emulsion spreads effortlessly without requiring firm pressure or leaving a heavy film. It absorbs rapidly into outer skin layers, leaving zero tacky, greasy, or slick residue on pajamas or bedding.

Skin Barrier & Surface Finish

Formulated without parabens, phthalates, or harsh drying agents, the lotion respects delicate infant pH and cutaneous barrier integrity. Once absorbed, it leaves a soft, velvety finish that shields baby skin against nighttime dryness while imparting a subtle, relaxing lavender scent.

Skin Type Suitable for delicate, dry, sensitive, and normal baby skin profiles from birth onward.
